October 2016
Helping out the Thai Red Cross
 We have fun together!

 The "Lego" Building
POWs who died building the death railroad

October was a sad month in Thailand's history.  It is when King Rama IX passed away.  Everywhere businesses are showing their respect by placing black and white rosettes outside of their buildings.  This is in front of the mission home and service center.
A trip to The Bridge over the River Kwai

Riding the Death Railway.  Called that because so many died building it.

 Orchids grow everywhere here
 Fish lamp posts
Showing respect for the late King
It's not hard to match when all you can wear is black and white
Everyone has to wear black or black and white for 90 days to honor the late King
A tuk tuk ride with these fun ladies
 A lotus flower
It's not unusual to find a street musician trying to earn money for school
A dangerous job!  And honoring the late King
