"June is busting out all over!"  Mostly with rain!! But I think it's a kin to Camelot here because it has only been raining at night!!   I can't believe it's June already!! In some ways I feel like I've been here forever!!  Things are feeling so familiar!!  What a blessing this is!!  This past month I had the opportunity to go to a Young Single Adults Conference as the nurse.  We had one monkey bite and one allergic reaction, but the young adult leaders took care of it!! Three of the senior couples from the office went too and one of the Thai sisters from the mission office.  It was a very fun trip and Sister Supreeda took us to so many interesting places we wouldn't have seen.  I also did a presentation to the Mission  Leadership Council this week about mosquito born illnesses, like Dengue Fever and Malaria. Since it's the rainy season, the missionary department has come out with new guidelines to help protect the missionaries, including pants and/or long skirts for the sisters.  The sisters here in Thailand will be wearing long skirts and not pants. I have been on a major shopping spree lately!! It can't be helped! There are so many fun markets to go to with very inexpensive clothes and things.  I had fun bargaining with one of the Thai vendors for a blouse.  He brought out his calculator and showed me quietly the price he would give me because he said I was Thai!! I gave him the money and he gave me back 10 extra baht in change "for Jesus" because he saw (and pointed to) my missionary name tag! I love it here!! The elder from my home ward, Elder Hinkson, left to go back home this last week. I'm excited for his family, but somehow it seems a  little lonelier here knowing that he's gone. I went out with the sister missionaries this last week to visit a family from Pakistan that they have been teaching. I was so grateful they asked me to go with them.  I want to take advantage of every opportunity I have here! I know I'm here for such a short time and I don't want to miss a minute of it!!
