Well they put me right to work!! And I'm all moved in to my little apartment. I'm still a bit jet lagged and I don't know my way around yet. Bangkok has quadrupled in size and everything looks so different. I'm feeling a little helpless, but I'll figure it out. It's going to take 3-4 months to get my bearings. I CAN do this!!!! It's so fun being back here!!! What an amazing blessing!!!

I finished my mission medical training last Thursday afternoon. They said it was the largest group they have trained. A couple of the sisters were going to be mission nurses and their husbands were going with them to help out in the mission office. The rest of the Elders were going to be Area Medical Advisers and would be over 10 or more missions. It was an amazing group of people. Some of them had been on 2 or 3 missions already. Most were making some significant sacrifices to go. I felt very humbled to associate with them. I was able to go home for the weekend. It was a treat to be with and talk to kids and grandkids again. But so very hard to say goodbye again. This is a big sacrifice for my kids too. They are amazing!! I am excited to get to Thailand and get to work!!

Then and Now
This was me when I graduated from Weber State University with my Associate's Degree in Nursing and on my first mission to Thailand many, many years ago.
This is me now when I graduated from Weber State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and getting ready to leave for my second mission to Thailand.
